Just seen that a wraithlord counts as a character... looking forward to issuing challenges with it :D

Les, reaper exarch can't use fast shot and crack shot in the same turn. In 5th edition i would have preferred crack shot as cover was good and the re-roll to wound was really useful. In 6th fast shot is more viable. But don't take both, waste of points.

Needs more warp spiders *bamf**phwoom**bamf*

Edwemen and the remains of the scouting party returned through the webway portal, thier hearts heavy with greif for both the fallen and also because they had failed to find the spirit stones that they were searching for. Although the ork menace had been decimated by the heavy fire that they had come under, the accursed ork aircraft appeared to be indestructible. With it flying around , it was sure to draw more orks to the area, something the farseer didn't want, hence the withdrawl. there would be time to find the stones later....

So, thanks to Carl for a fun campaign game. A draw in the end because I was stupid enough (even with premeasuring!) to be more than 6" from the objective the guardians had been next to all game  Pleasantly surprised by the performance of the warp spiders. Think they came as a shock to Carl too. Don't ask about poxy ork flyers though!

Shan't talk too much about the other game. Lots of fun and a good opponent to boot (sorry, forgot your name!). However Guardians = easy stuff for bolters to deal with! As they were my only scoring unit i was nerfed fairly quickly!

Second game was against me, (Gavin). I also found out how nasty warp spiders can be, so many armour saves to take!

Luckily the emperors finest held fast, librarian Rossi slaying the xenos witch in single combat.

I had an excellent time, thanks for a good fun game.
