Craftworld Tathardir

Post by Chilledenuff » Fri Jul 06, 2012 1:49 pm

Farseer Edwemen consulted the runes again. Perhaps it was time for the craftworld to make it's presence felt again. He gestured to the handmaiden nearby. She bowed and moved away. A moment later the graceful tone of the alert sirens could be heard...

The Singing Spear glided across the room into Edwemen's open palm. As he closed his hand the Farseer could feel the weapon's lust for battle pulsing through it. He smiled grimly beneath his Gosthelm, soon it would be unleashed on the battlefield. The Spiritseers were readying Spiritstones to place into the Wraithgaurd and Wraithlords, not even death could stand in the way of the battle lust that was upon Tathardir now that the Avatar was awakened. From all of the sacred shrines could be heard the sounds of the Aspect Warriors readying themselves, a sound mirrored in the training halls as Gaurdians readied themselves for the forthcoming campaign.

Focusing on the here and now Edwemen gestured to the nearby strike force that had assembled. As one they moved towards the shimmering webway portal...

Dunno what it is, but italic fonts are just so damned difficult to read. Liking the fluff though.

Pixies should be pink and fluffy, shouldn't they?

Italics may be slightly more difficult to read than a standard font (although much nicer than comic sans) but it's an easy way to differentiate fluff from musings. It works even better in a quote box... wanders off to edit posts

Pleasantly surprised to see that with a bit of tweaking and a couple of small purchases yesterday I can make a relatively serviceable (probably really awful) 1850 army now! No tanks, lots of infantry;

Autarch (power weaon & reaper launcher) 105
Spiritseer, singing spear & conceal (goes in Guardians) 49
Spiritseer, singing spear & destructor (goes in wraithgaurd) 44
8 x striking scorpions (inc Exarch with biting blade, stalker & shadowstrike) 170
5 x Wraithgaurd 175
8 x howling Banshees (inc Exarch with executioner, war shout & acrobatic) 160
10 x Dire Avengers (inc Exarch with twin Shuriken Catapults, Defend & Bladestorm) 167
18 x guardians inc Eldar Missile launcher 164
8 x Warp Spiders (inc Exarch with 2 x Death Spinners, Powerblades, Surprise Attack & Withdraw) 228
5 x Dark Reapers (inc Exarch with Tempest Launcher, Fast Shot & Crack Shot) 237
4 x Dark Reapers (inc Exarch with Tempest Launcher, Fast Shot & Crack Shot) 202
Wraithlord with Wraithsword and Starcannon 130

Total = 1831

I reckon I can bump it up to 2k (almost) by turning one of the 2 spiritseers into a farseer. This would mean the wraithlord and wraithgaurd having to be close together though to make use of the lone spiritseers ability
