Grim Dark 6th edition campaign

Post by poi » Thu Jul 05, 2012 2:50 pm

Hi folks

Something has been located in the Glebe Sector!

Venti Bellicus, the 42nd world in the sector returned to the Imperium during the Great Crusade, has erupted in war as competing forces try to find it. What is it? Who can say? Ancient Archeotech? Xenos technology? An Imperial relic?

Starting on July 17th, every month we will play one of the new missions from 6th edition.

17th July - 500 points. Crusade. You will only require a single Troops choice rather than the two usually needed.

21st August- - 750 points. Purge the Alien.

18th September - 1,000 points. Big Guns Never Tire.

16th October - 1,250 points. The Scouring.

20th November - 1,500 points. The Emperor's Will.

18th December - 1,750 points. The Relic.

Fortifications and allies will be allowed.

If you win your game, you will be allowed to place one Mysterious Objective (from amongst those you hold at the end of the game you won) in your Deployment Zone in your next game. If you don't hold any objectives, you won't get one for your next game.
As Purge The Alien does not use these objectives, the winner of this game will have free choice from all the Mysterious Objectives.

I know some won't be able to make these dates but, so long as you get a game at the right points level in during the month against another campaign player, it will count. Just one game will count each month (your first at the points level against a campaign player), but I'd encourage you all to play lots, so you can get your heads around the new rules and how your armies are affected.

Sign up below, including what codex you'll be using.

Librarian Rossi of the Crimson Fists has heard tales of an artefact on the planet Venti Bellicus. His investigations lead him to believe it may be the fabled Finger of Dorn, a relic carried by the primarch himself whose function is shrouded in mystery. Along with a small force of his brother marines he has set out to the Glebe Sector to track down the source of the rumours. If they prove true he must recover the relic at all costs, the honour of the chapter is at stake!
