List of Primetime Muppet TV Shows

Post by Chilledenuff » Wed Jun 05, 2013 8:28 am

The breakdown of what TV shows will be gracing the screens of Glebe TV! As details are forthcoming I'll put them here...
Martin wrote:The Amazing Adventures of Commander Munkey-Wrench and his Marvulas Meckanical Inventions

Is a low budget Saturday morning kids tv show staringChuck Wagner as Commander Munkey-Wrench

Driving his custom built command bunker/workshop on wheels across the country to fight crime where ever it may be, the commander strides into the fight with his robotic constructs and his trusty monkey wrench from witch he takes his name
Paul wrote:The Impersonators

A cast of bad lookalikes (think the red dwarf episode where they are on a waxwork planet)
Chris 'Kelso' Kelson wrote:The Mechanical Menace of Ms. Metallika and the Metalokrons

Villainous aliens using robots minions lead by a cyborg, sent across space to retard the development of dangerous species (such as humans) as well as to enforce interstellar law and order with maximum force.

Casting to follow, but should be the cyborg leader, a really big robot, other robots with rayguns and a few technician minions for comedy interludes/more subtle antics as they do the real work in keeping things running.
Chris 'Stappy' Stapleton wrote:The Sonic Death Monkeys (heavy metal detectives)

The "Sonic Death Monkeys" one of the most successful heavy metal bands in the worlds history. By night they bring the noise to Stadiums around the world and in their spare time they delve into the underworld solving crime using a combination of rifts and force. Led by Lead Singer Freddie Van Falen, Sonic Death Monkey featuring Lead Guitarist Smash, Guitarist Jimmy Fendrix, Bass player Rex Simmons and Drummer Bruce Grohl have topped the charts in countries all over the world, unbeknownst to many of their fans they have done what the can to stem the tide of the rise of F.L.E.A (Federation of Languid Enemy Agents) led by the evil "Supervisor". So far they have foiled the Supervisor but will that change........

Wherever there is injustice, you will find us.
Wherever there is suffering, we'll be there.
Wherever liberty is threatened, you will find...

Les wrote:The Asylum

The Asylum is a villainous cast based on the machinations of the insidious Oscar Sullivan and the denizens of the Oscar Sullivan Institute of the Criminally Insane.
Rab wrote:The Orphanage

At the wrong end of town there can be found Sister Mary’s Orphanage, known for taking in the kids that no one else wants. For decades the Orphanage has taken in the worst of the worst, the deviants, the psychotic, the violent and turned them around. Little does anyone know that the Orphanage is in fact the centre of organised crime in the city, for Sister Mary has a darker side...

The Orphanage is an after the watershed show which caused much controversy when it initially aired due to its use of child actors, questionable moral themes and scenes of graphic violence.
Still waiting on 2 casts to be confirmed and also trying to drum up a couple of other players though. I think 10 casts would be more than enough for the likes of me to organise!
