Chocolate cake has evolved into hills.

The big one I probably should have thought to make modular, it's approximately 2'x2'.

Looking spangly. What you need now is a courtyard with a downed chopper in it

Well, blog's going well I guess, It's got things on it at least. Been rambling about all sorts of guff.

Anyhoo I've been lazily working on the various things that I picked up at Warfare.

Gotta say I was impressed by heroics and ros, not as insane quality (and a bit wonky on some things) but generally good with some decent detail. And I could not argue with the price which was approximately 50p per tank. Compared to GHQ's £1.40 or CinC's £1.05ish.

Things are coming along well with the 6mm stuff, progress being made quickly despite various impediments. Pretty much all the Czech infantry was done in 2 days once I'd got it cleaned up, based and undercoated.

Am going to add a bit of extra detail to the bases though, marking out arcs on the front of the vehicle ones and adding some more lumpy vegetation. I should also remember to look up some tutorials for making nice explosion markers.

Playing the 6mm stuff for Fistful of TOWs was cool. Simple system. Joking about the arty, better than in other systems.

Must get my Israelis based up.

And of course all my FoW stuff is usable too.

The artillery is specifically that way though due to all the possible variables and that it's pretty integral to the level of play. I mean, for the soviets alone during just that era we did (about 1987ish) you're looking at towed/self propelled 82mm (regular and clip-fed burst firing with the Vasilek), 120mm, 160mm and 240mm mortars plus various 122mm, 152mm and 203mm regular artillery pieces and a half dozen different multiple rocket launchers types of varying size and capabilities for High Explosive, Smoke, Cluster munitions...

Also I need more of it.
