Muppet painting log reborn!

Postby Chilledenuff » Tue May 10, 2011 5:23 pm

No pictures yet, but I thought i'd revisit the monthly painting log that we had last year. If only because it inspires/forces me to paint more toys! I've got a few models painted this month so far to upload, so must others I would have thought so here's the thread back from the dead. Yay!

A final highlight of a 'spooky' green colour on the edges?

years ago, i used to have a pot of luminuos paint(by reviell i think) but thats now long gone, which is a pity as that would have been ideal for doing a final light dry brush.
what would you use for a "spooky" green les?

The Army of the Dead are suitably spectral. You could try something like this: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/conte ... d=12300001

Try a very watered down wash of Asurmen Blue. It will make the green deeper and bring it more otherworldly rather than Nurlgly

The model needs to be whiter as well. At the mo it's too dark. The reason why i highlighted this is because that is the method(ish) i used to paint the barrow wights for GW Basingstoke's cabinet when i worked there.
