To mark the launch of WFB8, a few of us are starting new armies, starting at 750 points and then growing in 250 point blocks.

on a side note, i enjoyed the game even if i did lose, but did get used to some of the rules a bit more

My clanrats stayed in the tower all game, unchallenged, along with my Warlord and battle standard bearer. You only faced 2/3rds of my army on the field.

Have a look at the building rules. My numbers wouldn't have counted for much in there, so you'd have had a good chance of driving me out.

Try playing them a little more aggressively. All the ogres' power comes in the charge.

Ah were not going to do that. He has been disqualified from earning the grand prize at the end of the game and, lest he forgets the rules that were set up at the start, there are already disadvantages to running unpainted minis on milestone evenings should the opponent wish to call them.

As I'm out of the running for the prize I'll use whatever toys I like.

Painted, unpainted, GW, non-GW, plasticene, jelly tots...

Oooh, jelly-tots please! Then I can eat anything I destroy on the field!

Okay, that's making the assumption that I actually destroy anything on the field... though you're not allowed to eat my minis...

No one said anything to the contrary, in fact my above point stated that I would not be adding any rules to exclude you.

If you do need help painting rats for RR though Im sure some people would be happy to help if you want it.
