For Sale - almost all of my marines

refresh of an old post.

I'm selling almost my entire marine collection. just keeping the deathwing really. so, have the following to sell;

3 rhinos - basecoated green
2 land raider crusaders - basecoated green
30 tactical marines - 2 plasma cannons, 1 multimelta, 3 meltaguns, 3 sargeants. one with powerfist, one with power axe, one with power weapon. all in various stages of green paint, rest are boltgun marines
3 predators - 1 autocannon with heavy bolters, 2 autocannon with magnetised lascannon sponsons
1 master of the ravenwing land speeder - painted
2 ravenwing squads - 6 bikes (2 sargeants, 2 flamers, 2 plasma guns) 2 multimelta attack bikes - painted
1 ravenwing squad - 3 bikes - basecoated
1 venerable dreadnaught - plasma cannon and heavy flamer - painted
1 venerable dreadnaught - assault cannon and heavy flamer - painted

all offers considered.

I managed to ebay quite a bit of it, the value from the community just isnt there though. Either due to everyone has marines situation or noone wants second hand anymore...

It's still the biggest game on the block. I think it's what Dan said, saturated market. Just about every 40k player already has a marine army of one flavour or another.

Also, I reckon that it's harder to get rid of half-painted models. Most people will either want unpainted or undercoated models, or ones that are fully painted.

Once they've been base coated, you're limiting yourself to people who have a similarly-coloured army, or are willing to put in the extra work to re-paint the models with a new colour.

Doesn't take a huge amount of effort to strip plastics though. Brake fluid or dettoll does the job.

I picked up my eldar for next to nothing because of it.
